Family Life: I have a wonderful teenage daughter (yes, the words wonderful and teenage can go together), with whom I love spending time and sharing experiences. Whenever possible, we enjoy time with our extended family, exploring nature, and going to creative activities/events. We share a diabolical, 8-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix that we love in spite of her attempts to rule over our household.
What do you like best about the work you do? In working with families, I feel privileged to assist in the moments when there is a realization between the child and other family members that they understood each other; that they truly communicated. You can practically feel their family bond deepen when that happens. There is also nothing better than the unfettered belly laugh of a toddler. You can’t resist the joy it spreads.
