Education Background: Graduated from Forest Hills High School in 2000, received an associate’s degree in early childhood education/ special education from Pennsylvania Highlands Community College and a Bachelor of Arts – Human Services Degree through Geneva College.

Years of Experience: I have spent the past several years working with families to overcome boundaries from my time as a caseworker for Cambria County Children and Youth to working with children as a Mental Health Behavioral Specialist at Head Start. I’ve been working as a Community Health Worker now for nearly 3 years and recently got my certification. I started at Beginnings, Inc April of 2024.

Family Life: I have a wonderful hardworking boyfriend of 7 years (Jimmy). Together we share a daughter (Olivia) who is just starting Elementary School this year and I also have two adult children (Autumn and Dylan) who are now out of the home. As a family we do a lot of camping and occasionally traveling to new places. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of time in our gardens, mushroom hunting, canning, fishing, hiking, hunting and foraging. We have way too many chickens and a cat Figaro.

What do you like best about your work: I know personally what it’s like to struggle as I was a single mother for several years. I put myself through college, worked and raised two children on one income. I now get to help families overcome obstacles so that they can reach their goals. The staff at Beginnings, Inc have been so welcoming and supportive. It feels great to be a part of a team who’s mission is to help families grow strong.
